Sarkostas won both Monsters and pocketed almost €8,500 but somewhat surprisingly didn't become the most profitable manager of the weekend. How is it possible? Find it out in our weekly analysis as the English Premier League continues gaining momentum.
The €2 tournament with a GPP of €6,500 recorded 3,241 entries last Saturday.
Sarkostas won the mini-monster having become one of three managers to overcome the 100-point barrier.
The winner was only the fourth as far as game week points are concerned but his pursuit bonus of 5.64 points helped him reach the top. The key decision that led to the victory was stacking Schmeichel and Justin which turned out to be a very wise move from the pursuit point of view.
The runner-up Mitya took the first place in terms of player points. There were only 2 differences from the winning team - Pulisic and Iheanacho - who were more expensive and not so efficient.

In this part of the article, we are going to explore some trends of the Pursuit mode and other new features in the FanTeam Tournaments.
7-man Pursuit format is still used for Weekly Monsters but now the players are limited to a maximum of three players from 1 team. Man United attacking explosion against Bournemouth sufficiently decreased the variability of the squads at the top of the standings. Nevertheless, let's try to find something interesting from the stats and ratings.
Only three formations were used by the managers in Top-20 more than once and the most popular in the Game Week was the one with all attacking slots filled.
|Formation||Own. % in Top-20|
After the reinstallation of 3-man cap in the EPL events, it is quite natural to see that almost all successful teams this gameweek use 3 different teams - the minimum amount possible.
